In its capacity as personal data controller, the company has implemented its own internal system for storage and processing of personal data in compliance with the requirements under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April, 2016.

New Village Tours Ltd. collects your personal data in order to fulfill our contractual obligations under contracts we have signed with you for the provision of travel services – on a contract basis, as well as for marketing purposes and the receipt of advertising brochures.

When you use our Platform or Website, our servers store data about pages you have visited, offers and price quotes, dates of visit, IP address and other operational data, for the primary purpose of security and protection from potential attacks. This information is anonymized to the highest degree and is not linked to a natural person.

All other personal data like names, phone number, email, address, etc. is retained only upon the express and informed consent of the user of our services, which is you.

A minimum amount of personal data is collected in pursuit of our interest to offer a high-quality and affordable travel service. In some cases, we use cookies.

Cookies Policy

The purpose of the cookies is to “remember” your device, so that it can be recognized when you visit our website again, allowing the website to adapt to the needs of the user. All files that collect and store such information are called cookies. What personal data do we process and who do we collect it from?

Categories of personal data collected by New Village Tours Ltd.:

Statistical: IP address, visited webpages, viewed items and offers, identifiers stored locally on the user’s device in the form of “cookies”, information about browser/operating system.

Personal: Personal data collected with the explicit consent of the user such as first name, surname, email, address, which is used by the administrator to contact the user, as well as to personalize an offer provided in response to an inquiry.

Purpose of data processing: The statistical data is used in maintaining the normal operations of the platform and website, which are the property of New Village Tours Ltd. The personal data is used to enable the necessary conditions for providing a specific travel service.

Duration of data retention:

Depending on the reason for processing your personal data, the duration of personal data retention can vary.

We shall retain your personal data for a duration of 5 years from the end of the contractual grounds for its collection if we are processing the personal data for the fulfillment of our contractual obligations to you. After expiry of this period and where no legal basis for the continued retention of your person data exists, the information on you shall be destroyed. The records we have of your data shall be permanently deleted from our system, and the paper files containing your personal data shall be destroyed.

Email subscribers - newsletter

Type of personal data subject to processing - email.

Purpose of processing – a bulletin is created, containing a list of subscribers that have made the informed decision to voluntarily share their e-mail for the purpose of receiving special offers, discounts and exclusive promotions and games from New Village Tours Ltd.

Who else can receive your data?

Under no circumstances shall New Village Tours Ltd. share your personal data with third parties unless:
- We have received your express permission to do so;
- Information sharing is required by legitimate control authorities or officials who, in accordance with the existing legislation in force, have the right to demand and collect such information, and the trader is obligated to provide this information on legal grounds;
- The information is provided to third parties as needed for the fulfillment of a service under a contract concluded between the client and New Village Tours Ltd. – hoteliers and restaurateurs, persons providing services at certified tourist sites, tour operators and travel agents, licensed carriers, tour guides and other operators of services included in the tour package or representing a separate service to be performed.

What are your rights?

In accordance with Bulgarian and European legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the EU and the Council (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) on the protection of personal data, you can exercise the following rights:
- Upon request, you have the right to receive information concerning the personal data collected about you.
- You have the right to not allow your personal data to be collected and processed, as well as to demand its correction, deletion, restriction and blocking. For this purpose, you need to send an email to the following address: office@hotelspoint.io.
- If you are the recipient of a bulletin, you can opt out of it at any time by using the opt-out option that can be found at the end of every bulletin.

The exercise of these rights is subject to certain exceptions in order to protect public interest (for example, in the prevention or detection of crimes) or to protect our interests (for example, in maintaining our legal privileges).

You can exercise the aforementioned rights at any time while your personal data is being processed.

If you do not want us to process your personal data in the ways described in this document, you have the right not to share it with us. The sharing of personal data is strictly voluntary and aimed at enabling the full functionality of our platform and website, and the provision of a high-quality service to the clients of New Village Tours Ltd.
